I enjoy reading about languages and that draw my attention today. It might not be true or it might have changed but it worths mentioning.

It has been reported in the guiness book as the biggest actual word in the world. It contains 172 letters and 78 syllables. Aristophanis (greek comedy writer) has used the greek language at it's full potential describing a cook recipe in a hodgepodge of words. This word is in his play "Εκκλησιάζουσαι" (Ecclesiazusae-Assebly Women) and it takes place in the lyrics 1169-1175.

The word is λοπαδοτεμαχοσελαχογαλεοκρανιολειψανοδριμυποτριμματ οσιλφιολιπαρομελιτοκατακεχυμενοκιχλεπικοσσυφοφαττο περιστεραλεκτρυονοπτοπιφαλλιδοκιγκλοπελειολαγῳοσιρ αιοβαφητραγανοπτερυγών…

I have waaaay too much free time

Write down some huge words in your language :ninja:

It's probably used in many languages but the longest word I could find used in English (after a very cursory search) was pneumonoultramicro-scopicsilicovolcanoconiosis which is a mere 45 letters long and describes a lung disease.
