To what degree can one function (at all) in keeping one's knowledge of the alienation of others in mind? (so one doesn't go insane in constantly judging others)
where do you draw the line in your everyday judgements between exterior environmental forces and personal agency. do you forgive every single bureaucrat and manager you see or do you try to show each and everyone of them that they are oppressing you as a class.

in my opinion: ethics should not determine your behavior; strategy should.
generally, making yourself and your ideas sympathetic is more important than making a big stand against someone who is in the role of "oppressor."
this is known as "meeting people where they're at."

where I draw the line is when there is a strategic purpose in illustrating their role in oppression. this usually means that there is a public situation where oppression is obvious or readily recognizable with only a few (jargon-free) sentences.
