Does anyone know a good documentary about working people's movements in the US? It can deal with other countries too, but I'm looking for one that has a good amount of information on the American movements (because that is my audience). I was also hoping for one that is fairly short and not too old.

Harlan County USA is a good place to start.

It's one of my favorite documentaries of all time.

Harlan County USA is indeed a brilliant documentary. Watch it.
The Wobblies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6os8BRJxvI4) is about the history of the IWW.

These seem cool, but do you know any that cover more than just union struggles? Ideally, I'd like one that talks about union struggles and community struggles. For example, and this is just an example, a movie that covers a workplace strike and a rent strike. Or one that covers the struggle of union transit workers and members of the community who want lower fares. Just examples. I'm open to showing pretty much anything, but, in my mind I envisioned a film covering different types of struggles and then I could get speakers from a union and from a people's/community organization.
