I'm watching the speaches leading up to good ol' Mitt Romney addressing a room full of tools. To give the abridged version of all my reactions I can't stop either laughing or cringing. Anybody else enjoying the negitive emotional roller coster? Feel free to share your comments, reactions or observations.

anyone else wondering why clint eastwood was talking to an invisible man? let alone why he brought out a chair for him? anyone notice no minorities in the crowd when they pan out? anyone notice when that desendant from a cuban exile was talking and said something comletely uninsightful and no one applauded but seconds later you can tell an applause sign lights up and everone starts cheering?

all I can say is I love the lulz.

I think that was supposed to be Obama...either that or maybe he has finally lost it.

I always liked him as an actor but I never knew how lame he could be when attempting to joke about the president.

Yeah, I like how Marco Rubio commented that there is "no freedom in Cuba", lol

I wonder what percentage of Cuba's population is imprisoned compared to the USA's...

Oh no he was defenitly pretending to be talking to Obama, but besides that fact, there is no question (given his politics) that he's lost it.

Getting drunk and watching this makes me lose faith in humanity.

One last thought: this pretty much sums up everything that Mitt wanted to say last night

It's fun to compare the GOP National Convention with the final CPSU National Congress. It's the same scenario - a neocon party during the decline and fall of a capitalist superpower. Ron Paul isn't making a speech, maybe you could liken that to Boris Yeltsin leaving the party or something.

I don't even watch American television news anymore. I could care less what some dumbass right-wingers are squawking about.

thing with clint was just outright bizarre, hardly many any sense at all and even still managed to be pretty much the most sensible thing in the convention

One should not drink and watch mainstream politics at the same time. Brain damage incurred could be permanent, and possibly deadly.
