Anybody want to enlighten me as to what they perceive as a class enemy? I figured it would be a radical page that would give me some updates on my newsfeed about this or that. Oh was I wrong...I ended up just telling them to read some books, wished them all the best, and fucked off since all I got in reply to my points was "Obama is the lesser of two evils, blah blah." :rolleyes:

I liked the page about a month ago and saw some Pro-Obama bullshit and thought somebody hacked the fucking page, until I read the comments and saw most people in agreement with Obama.

Walter, i can give you some arguments against liberals:

Obama has been the President who gave the most money to the capitalist class in history:
He gives hundreds of billions of dollars in subsidies to workers'-surplus-extracting corporations, he has given hundreds billions dollars worth of bail out packages to the biggest and most oppressive private capitalist institutions and kept these failing enterprises private, his central bank has given over 7.7 Trillion dollars at no interest rate to the banks to further speculate on food prices which are exploding due to un-regulation, he gives yearly 1 Trillion dollars to the arms manufacturing aristocracy that get rich from producing the machines of terror and produce tax-payer paid profits from the blood of tens of thousands of civilians a year in Libya, Afghanistan, Colombia, Yemen, eastern Africa and now Pakistan. Obama recently stated in an interview witht the new York times that he feels main stream media mis represent him and "that he feels he does not get enough credit on his willingness to cooperate on cutting social security and medicare". Unemployment in the USA is now at a yearly high of over 8.4%, while real unemployment is over 16%. 20% of the "capacity utilization" all the means of production in the United States, are sitting still while americans have unfulfilled needs and are suffering. If Obama really were for the people, he would not have given back the banks to Jamie Diamond and all the other corporate CEOs that are richer than ever through this crisis, he would have nationalised the banks, stopped the speculation on food, stopped the speculation on housing markets, would have raised taxes on corporations and the obscenely wealthy instead of calling for corporate tax cuts, would have nationalised the 20% of the industry that is gathering rust and dust at the moment and employed the millions of americans who's basic needs are not met and do not have employment. If Obama were a man of the people, he would call for rising wages along rising productivity, instead of supporting the stagnant workers real wages since four decades in the US and supporting the cutting of life supporting social programs. Obama is class A supporter of American Capital and Imperialism which is the force which enforces the global capitalist system which oppresses and exploits millions of humans on a planet of 7 Billion humans on which enough food is produced to feed 12 Billion humans 2,700 kc a day while 1 Billion humans are in a permanent state of severe undernourishment, every fourth child has no access to clean water etc. No, Obama throws the insane amounts of wealth of the State not at the people in need, but at the people oppressing the needy.

Yeah I argued that pretty much Obama was just as bad as the others. I left the debate after listing some of Marx's and Engels books. As well as Lenin's for them to read.
