Today (August 17) was International Al-Quds Day (Al-Quds means Jerusalem in Arabic). Crowds gathered across the world to protest the Israeli occupation and genocide of the Palestinians. I attended the one in my area.
Many cities experienced turnout, from New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Damascus, Tehran, and other world-class cities.

And many more. It is exciting and refreshing to see people protesting, although this is by no means a victory, nor is it sufficient. Hopefully the movement will grow in the future.
