This Idea that man has failed religion; well all I can say is that man made religion. So the faults that religion has are man made, the main fault that religion has is it’s there to sever the wants of it creator. What kind of people made religion upper class so people would work hard all there life to be just or good enough for the after life. So overall religion is fallible just like man.

ps revolutionindia talking about the intetions of religion have alot look at the topic the intentions of Lao Tzu.

When I play Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" on the piano, it may sound as [if] someone is pushing heavy furniture on an uneven surface, but my personal rendition has no bearing on the merit of the composition as such. No one has the right to call Beethoven because I am not up to his mark.

Or, as a famous review once said, "Mr. X played Beethoven last night. Beethoven lost."

But this analogy really doesn't fit; nowhere in any of his compositions did Beethoven ever suggest that inadequate musicians should be stoned to death.

The words of "holy men" and "holy books"--while enjoying a vastly inflated reputation for "goodness"--are, upon closer inspection, not very "nice" at all.

They frequently command any number of atrocities and often easily lend themselves to many more.

Followers of Asian religions often reply that this is just a feature of "western monotheism"...the Asian "holy men" and "holy books" "really are holy".

I don't believe them.
