Communiqué is a new media project for a generation failed by capitalism, launched by the ISG Scotland in Glasgow last night. It comprises a broadsheet, blog and podcast; updated with the latest news, features and analysis. This will hopefully at some point expand into other multimedia such as video as well.

As expected, very professional looking, podcast is creative commons (by-nc-nd) but I can't seem to find a link to directly download podcast though. The little down arrow is greyed out and I would like to listen on my ipod.

I kept waiting for the shakiness effect to go away in the video, but it never did. I guess it's supposed to look cool, but it just kinda gave me a headache.

I completely agree that socialists need their own media to compete with reactionary and liberal messaging.

were you inspired by any other well-produced leftist media?
I'm not aware of much.

In terms of anyone starting their own media, I'd suggested using existing platforms especially wordpress and the Communique podcast is hosted on soundcloud.
