REVLEFT ACTION PARTY HUB

I propose this thread to all other Marxists who are interested.
We can use it as a hub to come up with ideas related to Practice and Propaganda and how to achieve those aims.
We can combine our Ideas here to heighten Class Consciousnesses among Laborers.

Please make suggestions Comrades and we will discuss them and practice what works best.(I am having a bit of a brain drip at the moment, Can't think of anything)

I have proposed an idea in one of my threads that I think is crucial. I proposed the formation of a blog, consisting of a collective of Marxist writers and thinkers, that will be used the way Iskra was used as a newspaper to organize, agitate, raise class consciousness, and educate others. I think it has huge potential. Far more people would be reached if it had a combination of writers and a following of all those readers that they have as subscribers.

What I am proposing is a free blog that will be THE periodical for Socialists and Marxists. This would be a blog that everyone would want to read and subscribe to because of the collective of writers and ideas. I think it would have the potential to become a 'national paper' like Iskra with the same guiding principles and organizing effect. It would keep people in tune with developing events and organize a response; as well as become a great tool for developing the class consciousness of the masses.

I opened my own blog with this idea in mind but I would gladly join anyone who opened a blog with this idea in mind. I am not the best theorist per se, but I know that there are plenty of good theorists and people who excel at Marxist analysis who could supplement my areas of weakness, or be the leading contributors through a blog of this kind. I just haven't been able to get this idea out there to the right people but as it builds it will attract more writers and some who are very distinguished.

Just so I know I'm on the straight and narrow you are proposing a team of writers set up a blog and post news and whatnot, if so that is a great great idea.

I am happy to see somebody post btw.
Try get some people in on this thread because I feel we all have a responsibility to do things and take action and heighten Class Consciousness.

I have close contacts inside of the Democratic Party and have been for a long time, so if you need someone to help critique the electoral system, how it discourages third parties, how limited reformism can be, why revolution is better than reform, how it tries to put grassroots progressivism down, etc I'd love to get involved. I like to think of myself as a a secret agent inside the system :tt2:

If we could get this info out to college students around the country, we could maybe start working to get the next generation to be Marxist-inspired. Getting this news out around the country would be great!

I don't want to abandon this thread because we could get newcomers on here and have a group to elaborate on our ideas.

Even if our blog fails(Although we will put a great deal of effort into it) we will still put our ideas to concrete, This is a hub for the R.A.P(Revleft Action Party) where we present our ideas, select the best and elaborate them in our group.

I think that'd be the most useful way to work this thing out, rather than trying to make it a hub for folks to organize things in their part of the worlds (facebook, meetup, labourstart, and a million other sites are already used for that, and none of them are as effective and consistent as doing actual legwork)
Instead I'm imagining a big compilation on tips n tricks/strategies and tactics for organizing and demonstrating in different situations, you know?

I think at the next GFC, or any other economic crashes, we should really push our propaganda machine. Public Speeches, youtube videos, posters, rallies and, if the situation is ripe, riots. Of course, none of this is original thinking.

I'm thinking, that maybe when there is a high unemployment rate, we could try door to door meetings, or maybe a safer and less man-heavy option would be to run pamphlets amongst the unemployed and homeless.

I checked out the project you are working on. It sounds like a very good idea. Let me know if I can help in any way. I would also like to invite your group/team to join our development and planning group that we are in the process of building. We would consider you all to be a great asset and could help us develop our group and develop a collaboration of more people for your project too. I think it would be mutually beneficial and that the more support you gather; the easier a project is to put in motion and complete with plenty of polish. Remember the strength of the proletariat is its numbers.

Global Financial Crisis. Hit them when their system is at its worst.

Of course, we can always launch localised campaigns when there are more local economic issues (such as the recent European crisis).

If something is happening over in USA and our USA members are nearby they can act out for all of us, If something is going on in Ireland then I and other Irish members will act out.
