The discussion among the bourgeois intelligentsia has taken a radical turn. Business journals are now openly discussing the breakup of the euro. When the Euro collapses, all the European economies will go into depression. The only thing keeping the German economy up is the devalued currency for cheap exports on the backs of low wage german workers and at the cost of the southern European national economies. There is no way around a major crisis at this point, even if the ruling classes of Europe unite to form a federal capitalist EU, at this point only Socialism would save the European economies. This is yet another degree closer to full fledged depression.
