View Full Version : Working for a Zionist company

Recently, I started working part time for a company that is one of the most pro-Zionist and pro-Israeli in Britain. I pretty much only really had any chance of getting this job because my sister also works there. My job is in Human Resources, so I do things like fix problems with employee accounts, and I work there for two days a week and am looking to go full time in the future.
Is it right for me to have such a job when I oppose Zionism? I wasn't aware of the Zionist links that this company had at first, but if I don't take this job, I'll have no income at all as I have stopped getting ESA (Employment Support Allowance) benefits and won't be able to go back onto them if I lose the job or leave.

Don't sweat it. You need to eat and live as comfortably as you can first and foremost. I'm sure your politics do not interest them one bit, so long as they don't interrupt profit. Plus, you are a Human resources guy. Not the guy forking over millions to the Zionist state.

you should quit and get a job with a company that doesn't exploit anybody and with management that is thoroughly revolutionary.

You have to compromise your morals under capitalism in order to make a living. I'd rather see a comrade making a wage that can sustain them than see them reject employment due to ideological/political lines which would ultimately adversely affect their living standards.
We all have to do what we can with what we have.

I could have talked about how "this isn't a lifestyle" etc. but you already know that. Basically, after reading the part I bolded, etc. take the job and don't feel the slightest guilt for it.

It's a retail company, so they're definitely not in those industries.

I think I agree with psycho. If it's a retail company, don't sweat it.

Chances are you've work for someone who had connections to murdering natives in south america or butchering africans for minerals in the past so you're already compromised.

I oppose capitalism, but to stay alive, I would still have to work in capitalist companies. You must get food someway. As long as we still live in a capitalist world (Zionism is just another form of capitalism) we must work in capitalist, zionist or other companies.
