Greetings everyone! I thought I would quickly introduce myself as I am new here.

I live in the UK, 20 years old (nearly 21), and all my friends embrace Capitalism, it's never gone down well with me and I simply cannot come to accept it, people of course think I'm 'evil' for rejecting this stance.

To be perfectly honest, I haven't explored all leftist ideologies to 100% commit to a certain path. I do however know I am some kind of Marxist, still learning about everything so in time my answer will come. I have always been left since I can remember, although maybe not as far left as I am now.

I have studied Che Guevara quite throughly and I identify with him on a lot of things, although when I tell people this they shout 'YOU IDENTIFY WITH A MASS MURDERER?!'...*sigh*.

So yeah that's all I can think of for now. I look forward to exploring more on this site and trying to piece together where I stand on things, and of course learning from everyones ideas and thoughts on various subjects.

Peace & love :)

Welcome comrade! I really didn't appreciate how that new avatar series depicted a band of people fighting for equality as antagonistic. I didn't watch the show but overall I don't like that plotline.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Yes, I agree with you on the Avatar business, although I just liked this character so I thought why not? Hope everyone's doing great.

And yes, it saddens me that the UK doesn't understand too.

Have a great day people :)
