I've have this film. The Situationists added their own dialogue (with subtitles) to a kung-fu movie and turned it into a working-class struggle. It's very good, a lot of fun to watch. If you have the chance to see it, do so. These YouTube videos are only clips.

how do you reconcile the situationists critique of the pcf with your support (membership?) of the kke?

First of all, PCF and PCI are the two examples that we use to avoid of how a communist party can get really fucked up. There is no relation of the 1968 PCF with 2012 KKE. Secondly, its fun.:p

I find the idea that Leninists like this film kinda disturbing. You're not supposed to like it. It's supposed to be a scathing, ruthless, and merciless attack on Leninism.

I've seen it twice already, I never interpreted it as that.

How did you interpret it?

How did you interpret it?

I interpreted it as class-conscious men standing up and fighting the corrupt, ruling class. Maybe I need to watch it again.

It is that too. It's both. It was made by René Viénet, a member of the Situationist International, an organisation famous for its anti-Leninism.
