THIS. can't get them where I live so whenever someone goes to the states they bring me some back. American spirit cigarettes knock me the fuck out, but i love it.

I always get Golden Virginia rolling tobacco. I don't really like pre-rolled cigarettes and I don't really smoke tobacco much. I used to buy it for spliffs, but I don't really tend to smoke weed anymore so cigarettes are mostly just a drunken vice now.

Yeah hey remember the last four cigarette threads where it was like 'hey I smoke camels' and then I was like 'hey me too' and everyone was like 'nice!'

I smoke camels and I don't know why cause cigarettes taste like shit, make me tired and sick and drain my wallet.

Skruf Stark or occasionally Göteborgs Rapé. I've been considering going back to snus, I mean the main reason I switched to smokes was because of a girlfriend I am no longer together with so. Still snus is not as social though.

I quit smoking a few months ago, but when I did ...

Newport Reds or L&M Reds when I was feeling cheap
Marlboro Reds when I was feeling ... not so cheap
Marlboro Black-Reds when I was feeling like I wanted a slight change up and not so cheap
Camel Turkish Gold when I was feeling Turkish
American Spirit Perique Black when I wanted something amazing

Blend #1 or Yellow Blend, as it's commonly called. If I can't get it I'll go for either red or white Marlboro. With snus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snus), the other -- I guess you could say main -- nicotine product I use, I change between different brands (although most commonly it's either General or Ettan Portion). I prefer regular portion snus to the dryer 'white' variety.

I personally prefer loose to portion, but both are fine.

Dunhills
Lucky Strikes (the filtered ones you can get in Europe)
Camels (Kamel Red and the Turkish line being preferred)

The only menthol I might smoke is American Spirit menthols...
but I usually smoke regular ("full flavored")

Golden Virginia, rolling tobacco, I don't smoke it much myself but I find the smell comforting. I smoke Henri Winterman Half Corona cigars when I have the money, they're wonderfully pungent but fucking expensive, more of a treat if anything.

Yeah, rolling tobacco is much better then regular cigs.
Though, GV is somewhat bland by my standards. And awfully expensive here where I live.
My choice comes down to this: if I got some more money, then go with Black Devil (the black one, not the white one), if not, then home grown, marketplace tobacco which is usually horrible but can be decent, depending on the producer. Or maybe some cheap domestic tobacco.

I knew someone who had mint and chocolate flavoured papers in a similar arrangement. They were camo patterned and made for the strangest tasting cigarettes/joints.

Quail was right, I guess you'd remember "chocolate" because the papers are brown rather than black. Also I seem to recall that you only ever smoke half a cigarette anyway

Sentinel

Seriously speaking, I think the reason to why I tend to forget the value of cigarettes - as well as alcohol - is that I'm used to getting them quite cheap from where I work. I work at a Duty Free shop.

It's already cheap compared to Swedish prices, and we naturally get a further staff's discount negotiated by the union (which unfortunately isn't nearly as good as on ships sailing under some other countries flags, but still considerable).

So I guess that as I'm used to an abundance of these particular necessities of modern life, I tend to be wasteful when it comes to them. Call it a work related injury, if you want.:)

Well, I disagree on that score, I can't abide Silk Cut- it literally doesn't do anything for the cravings. And OH is among the harshest baccy I've tried. It seems that you can literally feel the tar accumulating with every puff. I've looked at the vital stats and I know that isn't true, but it still feels like it. Not for me.

Lucky Strike, would probably smoke Camels more but barely any shops in the UK seem to sell them and if they do it's normally Camel lights at about £8.50 a pack

I've heard that before from people. I don't see it/feel it myself but maybe I'm acclimated or something.

My only experience with Pall Mall was when I was drunk and thought I'd lost my baccy and bought a pack from a vending machine (the only available nicotine dispensary) they tasted fucking awful, like someone had swept up the wasted tobacco from the factory and deposited it in each cigarette without bothering to take out the floor dust. That may just have been because it was a vending machine and I've noticed - on the few occasions I've been desperate enough to pay £6+ for a pack of 17 fags- they tend to be very poor quality.

Raúl Duke

Budget-wise, Pall Mall is ok but I always find it unnerving the fact that they do burn longer but I think it's due to strange chemicals rather than say extra tobacco (which is the case with American Spirits).

First, you have cigarette machines?

Third, 17 cigarettes? Aren't packs always 20?

First, you have cigarette machines? Yeah. A lot of pubs/clubs have them. Usually they're within sight of the bar or in places that only people older than 18 can enter, which is probably why they're tolerated.

Second, I quite like Pall Malls actually. They aren't the cheapest but they aren't super expensive and I think they tase just fine.
That experience soured me to them, I must say. I've seen pall Mall rolling tobacco available for very low prices but I've never been desperate enough to brave it.

Third, 17 cigarettes? Aren't packs always 20?
Cigarette machines are total fucking rip offs. They give less than standard size packs. Also in my experience most brands do 10 packs as well for over the counter. I know Royals do 24 packs as well (and I think 12 or 48 but I'm not sure on those) but they're foul so...
