There is a petition if anyone is interested for the sanctions on Cuba to be lifted. They have been in place for over 30 years and it is time that they were lifted. If you agree then sign this petition at:

does everyone know which countries participates at the sanctions?

The only country with firm sanctions on Cuba is America, but many countries followed suite without declaring it in an effort to maintain good relations with America.

is there also some intranational (in the usa) resistance against the sanction?

There is loads of resistance from corporations in America, companies like Barcardi and United Fruit are still demanding compensation.
Do you know what I say to them, go to hell!

Also all Cuban products are completely illegal in America, that ranges from sugar cane all the way down to cuban cigars, so the whole economy is hit greatly.

Funnily enough the majority of signatures for the petition have come from america, so I don't know how true that is. They reason that they support it is, they are not given the other side of the arguement, the media will never show the misery that it causes.

a problem of the represantative democracy is that there is a 'class' of politicians which rules the country. it is an oligarchy. and the population cant do to much against it.

Thats rubbish, this is a country had started a revolution, if they can do it once then if they wanted to they could do it again. But they don't want to. They can see the improvements (health care, education, life expectancy) and know things would be much better without the embargo. If you think it is an oliarchy then why was it a people's revolution, why are there mass unforced demonstrations of support for the government.
Also if you say, why aren't there more political parties in Cuba, it is because they aren't the ones who fought and bled for the revolution. Why should the reigns be handed over to them to do damage to the country again.

Thanks for the support that people are giving the petition, it is evident that people from here are signing it. We just have to spread it to more people and get more attention, such as send out the link in chain letters to like minded people.
Thanks for the support.

There are also unnoficial aspects to the blockade. For example, a mexican businessman who traded across the Americas, sold cuba 50,00 dollars worth of soap (hardly a strategic commodity). Anyway one day he was invited to a breakfat at which found the U.S. ambassador. The ambassodor told him that he knew of his sale to cuba, and that he knew that the businessman also traded with America, and that he would have to decide "Who he was going to be friends with"
In other words, if he continued to trade with cuba, he would not be able to do any trade in the U.S.A.

Yes, I think it's true that the US is the only country with sanctions against Cuba. But the Helms-Burton Act punishes all other countries who continue to trade with Cuba--for example, by prohibiting their docking in American ports if they have stopped in Cuba in the last six months. But the concern that really shows through in the Helms-Burton Act is that of American capitalists who owned properties in pre-revolutionary Cuba. It's obvious that that's what the US is pissed about--its property. And it doesn't matter that the US is the only country with official sanctions against Cuba--the influence of the US economy is enought to secure Cuba's doom. (Actually, though, Cuba seems to be recovering.)

They did the same to Vaclav Havel(Czech President)when he appointed Frank Zappa as his Trade Minister.
"You either deal with us,or with Zappa!"
Not quite Cuba, but strong arm tactics just the same.
