Fun ways to take shots?

I am just wondering if any of you guys know a fun, exciting way to take a shot of alcohol. I am going to a party soon and I was keen on trying the Tequila Suicide (Snort a line of salt, take a shot of tequila, squirt lemon in your eyes then bang your head on the table) but from apparent reports of temporary (week long) blindness I have gotten less keen so I am interested to know if there are any other interesting ways to take a shot.

The options that I have (from what I am aware of) are vodka, tequila & gin. I assume there will be beer too, but that's no fun at all.

Uh I wouldn't do the thing you described there. Wouldn't be as fun to do as it would be to watch until you were really drunk, and at that point you could seriously fuck yourself up. As for fun ways to take shots? I kinda think just getting em down quickly is the way to go. Not really too much fun in taking em just the effects. Maybe do a speed game if you have strong stomachs, it'll get you drunk quick and won't tear too hard at the liver.

My advice... Find some fun drinking games if you want to get hammered and stick to enjoying the effects of the alcohol.

Disclaimer: It's a terrible idea, but I've done it before. You may actually get alcohol poisoning and/or die.

You could also grab a bottle of Jagermeister and watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze. Every time something stupid happens, you take a swig.

Yeah, I got one, spin yourself around until relatively dizzy (15 spins normally). Try to pick up the shot without spilling any at all, and drink.

Or more appropriately, just drink, there isn't a process to enjoying a shot, just pour and pour again when the glass is empty.

I usually just take the shots. It's what happens after that that is the fun part. Although that one where you get dizzy first could be fun but not while too drunk or it might just cause vomiting.

heres the argument i was given and it seems to make a bit of sense. your body is only having to digest 1 oz of liquid every minute versus chugging 12 oz really fast and just getting full and fizzy. so, it gives your body time to absorb the little amount of alcohol that is in the drink much more efficiently, which apparently means more drunk.

Usually, I avoid shots (especially if I'm outside my home, a safe place, etc) because I end up getting really hammered and probably making an ass of myself and/or puke.

I weigh 75 kilos, if I drink an entire (=>70cl) bottle of anything strong enough to have as a shot (~40%) in one I'm not likely to have much fun.
