I'd love to know what of value is out there on social and political experiments in Latin America. Whether Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, etc.

I'm sure there are lots out there, but I really have no idea beyond that stupid Oliver Stone movie that focused only on the 'leaders'.

The Revolution will not be Televised is pretty good, some irish or canadian guys happened to be doing a documentary on the 'controversial chavez' right when the right-wing forces tried to have him overthrown. they were right there in the palace when it happened, very interesting.

Check out Al Jazeera's documentary on the Chillean protests. I made a thread about it a few months ago. There's also A Place Called Chiapas but that's from the 90s. There's a few on Cuba but I can't remember them at the moment.
