Ya, I love it. I might ask for it for Christmas. I love World War 2 shit, one time I can rally behind my country instead of being ashamed of what they did. They tried to ruin it for me with Hiroshima and Nagasaki though.

Brilliant series. I own the collection and if you have the time and ability to stay sitting for long periods of time then i suggest trying to watch it all the way through over a day or two. It made me get so much more emersed in it that way then the normal weekly wait from watching it on tv. But either way its a damn good watch.

The love between the soldiers, the valor of the leaders (and Winters was one hell of a leader, brilliant under fire, and fuck you who disagrees with me) The A-bombs hmmm, touchy subject isnt it? It was predicted over 2 million would die before the war was over if the bombs werent dropped. Hard to tell tho, but the War that wasnt fought in the pacific was amazing. Anyone love Saving Private Ryan as much as me? Jesus Tom Hanks is great

WW2 was a good reason to fight, and most of the people fighting now dont believe in what they are fighting for anymore, just like in Nam. I dont like Patton, the person, tho ive never seen it. So im an idiot for supporting WW2? Yes i do fully support the US involvement in WW2. Dont give me all this shit that BOB is all propaganda. I know at least 5 101st airborne guys who fought in WW2. My g-gfathers friends, and i know alot of vets.

Band of brothers was a great movie and so was Saving Private Ryan. BUT I didn't like the story behind SPR and like someone said "how the americans won the war" but the film itself was very nicely made... :)
