I wish I could thank you for this OP.

After reading the article I feel like someone put thier strong hand on the nape of my neck and forecefully drove my face against an image of a dying ocean; an apocalyptic picture I was doing everything in my power to avoid looking at head on.

I suppose I ought to thank you but I won't.

You're just trying to scare me and everyone else here into becoming monomaniacal fanatics of revolutionary change. You just want us to turn our backs on capitalism, to betray its lofty principles of selfishness and wanton disregard for the well-being of our planet.

Worst of all, you want us to see the urgency of it all, before it's too late, before it's too late even for socialism to come along and save us from ourselves!
