No one but my partner has these images. It's not much but I'd be grateful to have you see them and give me your honest opinion:

They are quite eye catching... how did you make them?

Daz Studio, Bryce 4, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

Crude tools, I admit but I'm a novice at it.

I thought they looked very computer like.lol... I thought they were pretty good.Better than anything I could do: I try and use any sort of editing or creation program and am lost in moments so for you to be able to find your way when still learning is something. :)

You should try political figures ;)

It's not really my taste, but I can't say I don't like it. It's interesting.

The style seems pretty well suited for the cover of science fiction novels. Ever considered reaching out to some authors or publishers?

I wouldn't dare. Like Godless U said, they look too "computery", too digital, unnatural.

Isn't the point of floating people that they're not natural?

What's wrong with that? So much science fiction involves computers, technology, digital stuff, and sometimes even questions about what is or isn't natural.

But the reason I said that was mostly because it was my initial impression. They are obviously futurist, and actually reminded me of artwork I've seen in some science fiction context. I mean, to be perfectly honest, you could probably work on your technique a little more, maybe try and add a little more life to the backgrounds, make it look like the characters are actually somewhere, rather than in some abstract anywhereness (if that makes sense). But the truth is, a lot of science fiction artwork is actually just like that. It puts a character in a particular context that is abstract and uncertain so that the potential reader is enticed, but simultaneously to not reveal too much of the story. I think the artwork could work for certain science fiction contexts, like book covers, as it is.

I would go for it. If you get rejected, you lose nothing. If you don't, you may actually make some money off your art, and that after all is the holy grail of creative work, right?

Hahaha, I was browsing around looking for examples, and came across that site too! I was going to link to it, but thought you might get the wrong idea from the site's title. I actually think some of those covers are pretty kewl, actually.

Naw, they're horrible but strangely alluring. Like a monster movie when you're 10 yrs. old.
