Just think for a minute how such attitudes usually correlate with other positions, like about drug decriminalization, and age. They offend in order to offend, so they come up with what they themselves find offensive, so...

Attempts to justify such judgement as somehow SCIENTIFICALLY-MARXISTICALLY OFFENDED!!1 is pathetic and even less plausible than claiming to measure racism exactly by looking at n-word frequency.

No nerd wants to be lectured about how oppressive the White Nerd Patriarchal Conspiracy is, because (like with proletariat and bourgeoisie) the role of the nerds can only be properly grasped in the context of its antagonistic relation to, and domination by, the jockocracy, and non-jock being is part of nerd identity and given how sexist the primitive jock culture (maybe we should call it pre-culture) is, calling nerds sexist is almost like calling them jocks, hence the irritated reaction.

This is not really a cause for alarm. 4chan has always had a history of trolling certain targets just for shits. It just so happens the flavor of the month as of late has been feminists. A quick look at any of the boards (particularly /r9k/ and, for some fucking reason, /v/) will reveal this.

Though to be honest, I'm getting kinda tired of the feminist bashing. It's not just that it's bad or reactionary, but it's honestly gotten tired and boring to see the same old HURR FEMINAZIS threads popping up day in and day out. Just goes to show you how lonely the 4chan demographic tends to be, I guess.

I don't understand why this site of all things was hacked? Was it just wide open to hacking or something? Some people are saying they didn't change their default login so it was admin/admin for it. Still, not sure what's going on there. Guess it was for the lulz. I suppose though it could've been worse like hacking and leaking the personal information of those involved with the site or using it to throw out viruses, instead it seems to be vandalism.

I guess this could bring up a discussion about mainstream online communities being male dominated and seeing "feminism" as a carticture. With 4chan though you never know, but I've always gotten the vibe that they're not a consistent bunch when it comes to their views, which is to be expected considering they aren't a "political" group to begin with. I never really cared much for that site though... imageboards in general but that's a different story.

As for your posts on FP Hexen, I say don't bother. Frankly I think we get spoiled on here with our political discussions to the point that we forget we can't discuss it the same way with people outside our circles. Looking at your posts there, while it all makes sense to me, but to someone else it might just seem like "Marxism is infallible". You got to talk to other people differently, rather than just being blunt about it. Note that the topic has gone horribly offtopic from the hacking to talking points about Marxism.

I used to be very active in places like FP and other forums before I became more interested in Marxism. I can't use those places anymore like I used to, but when I do I remind myself that I need to reason and debate differently than just coming off as dogmatic. Much in the same way I can't go out to a random person on the street and talk to them about political issues in the way I talk about it here.
