I'm curious what books you've read on the diverse radical movements that emerged across the globe last year. To date, I've read found a number of decent analyses of the so-called 'Arab Spring'. But I've yet to find very many texts that approach the multiplicity of groups and tendencies from a comparative methodology. Paul Mason's Why It's Kicking Off Everywhere and Alain Badiou's The Rebirth of History are the closest to what I have in mind, but neither exactly blew my mind. What have you come across?
