Of all the distortions of socialism that we have to deal with probably the most obvious one is that the USSR had something to do with socialism. The failure of the USSR to deal with the problems of the working class has been portrayed as the failure of socialism. In this discussion session we hope to have a look at how this distortion became possible and how many workers have become confused about Marxism and Leninism.
