I can't provide a link. I'm not sure exactly why he is so hated here. I do recall one time, though, someone called him out for plagiarism on his blog. It did seem pretty straight forward at the time. I mean I saw the post and the original source, and it seemed like a clear cut case. On the other hand, it was a while ago, and I may have forgotten some crucial details. I certainly don't remember how he defended himself. But yeah, from then on, I started to regard MRN with some suspicion.

I don't think the fact he plagurized the Trotskyists website discredits him entirely but most anything else he has ever said might. That video is very funny and all but I'm interested to hear about this supposed "virtual assault" and exactly how his short stay here played out.

I'm not beating a dead horse. Someone asked why he was virtually assaulted, and I responded that it may have been due to his plagiarism. In my original response, I could not verify that he had plagiarized material from wsws.org, but now it clearly seems he did.

What he does now doesn't change the fact that at the time, he had plagiarized that website. And I was able to verify this for myself, based on a video that was posted in Kleber's thread.

It is clear that he was plagiarizing. He did not post the full URL to the article, in the video I saw. He only posted the url to WSWS.org. This is not a full url, it only provides the source website, but not the source itself.

Further, there was no complete quote in the video. It clearly was plagiarizing, and there is no way to defend this except to concede.

I'm not here going on some crusade against MRN to prove he was a plagiarizer or not. I wanted to know the truth for myself, and I simply posted what I saw. The fact is he did plagiarize wsws.org. Plain and simple. You don't like dealing with that fact, then that's your problem, but don't accuse me of beating a dead horse, since I'm not the one making an issue of this.
