Do you think is it possible to create a server dedicated to bringing full-length hollywood (and other) type movies to the internet, where they can be watched via streaming video for free? I would imagine such an undertaking would require a great deal of donations, but I think it could be easily accomplished, especially if such a server were located in a non-US country, where they would not be subject to the jurisdiction of American copyright holders. I would look forward to the de-facto communization of movies in the same manner that we are seeing in the music industry today. I do not think KaZaA would be nearly as easily used as a streaming server, because KaZaA requires you to download the entire movie to your hard disk before viewing, and many people do not have the hard drive space for a liberary of movies.
