Are there any such museums in US? Canada or Mexico maybe? I would really like to visit one since it's my passion to spend hours in them.

There's the People's History Museum in Manchester, UK and a Museum of (Anti-)Communism in the Eastern Bloc of Europe but that's all I know of.

There's the museum of the DDR (East Germany) in Berlin. I've never been to Germany, but from the friends of mine who have gone: they say it isn't really anti-Communist per sey.

Also of course there's the Museum of the Revolution in Havana, Cuba which is quite nice (it used to be the presidential palace before the revolution) and there's a museum dedicated to what's known in the US as the Bay of Pigs in Playa Giron, Cuba that's pretty interesting (although it's quite small)

Edit: ah I see you were asking about US/Canada/Mexico. Well for that I'm not sure

Yes I was hoping for something somewhat domestic. Hopefully I will get to travel to those recommended someday.

newyork tenement museum is pretty cool: http://www.tenement.org/
on the other coast, the basement of alcatraz has a small exhibition on the take over of the island by the AIM.

There's no communist museum because everyone who's tried to make one spends all their time arguing whether or not to include Stalin.

There's also a squatters museum opening in the LES in NYC I believe being put on by C-Squat
