This film has been getting really good reviews so I went to see it with high hopes and....it was one of the stupidest movies I have ever seen. 98% of the movie (excluding the beginning and end) doesn't even acknowledge he is a stuffed animal, you could use a regular 26 year old person and nothing would have been changed, furthermore the humor is so good damn juvenile, at one point the main character's girlfriend walks in and finds a hooker has taken a shit on the floor and the film not only spends not only 5 minutes on this joke, but there is second part later on where we see the girlfriend cleaning it up. Beyond that and some racism against Asians almost all the humor revolves sex or drugs, and none of it is even slightly cleaver. Yet people seem to love this movie, why, fucking why?. Is there anybody out there who agrees with me or I am alone?

I have not seen it yet, but I was hopeing to. I sometimes enjoy humor that sounds entirely juvenile on the face of it but also has a deeper meaning to it (south park comes to mind) but from what you describe it really just sounds like one of those "It's got poop, sex and drugs give us your money!" kind of movies.
I still might see it though...

It was so juvenile, but It had me and my two friends laughing the whole time. It's shock humor.
EDIT: Also, there's a portrait of Chairman Mao hanging on the wall of the Chinese guys house.
That movie has some solid elements in which it satirizes modern American masculinity. The OP is spot-on about the anti-Asian racism, though.

I was wanting to see it.... but I'm not so sure now. What you point out is exactly why I usually *don't* go see new comedies. I can just watch one of my old favorites instead.

I watched it last night pretty high. So I was laughing then but now that I think of it, it wasn't that great of a movie. It had a few moments here and there but for the most part it's just Seth being Seth and I don't particularly like Family Guy.

It's made by the creator of Family Guy and American Dad, why did you expect it not to be terribad?

Thought it looked really good from the trailer, I am a fan of dumb Family Guy-esque humour though
