As someone interested in the history of American Imperialism, I was wondering if William Blum's Killing Hope: U.S. Military and CIA Interventions Since World War II was a good and/or informative source of information on the topic?

For those of you who have read it would you recommend it?

It is a pretty good book, you won't regret reading it. It doesn't cover everything, of course(there's been 80 some known CIA coups at this point), but it does a good job on what it does cover.

I would also suggest Blowback by Chalmers Johnson and Globalization and it's Discontent by Joseph Stiglitz

Great, great book. Basically I agree with jookyle.
