REPORT: 10,000 armed men enter Syria for civil war

An estimated 10,000 armed men equipped with highly-sophisticated weapons, including anti-tank missiles, have reportedly entered Syria to help fuel the unrest in the country, Press TV has learned.


Informed sources in the Qusayr village in Homs say the terrorists crossed into Syria from the Lebanese border and that they have taken positions in the suburbs of the restive city.


Meanwhile, Syrian forces are still tracking armed groups fighting against the government of President Bashar al-Assad across the country.

I don't doubt that there's probably foreign fighters in Syria, but 10,000 coming over the border with one of Syria's main trading neighbors with no one reporting on it besides Press TV? Reminds me of that one story claiming that Iran somehow moved in thousands of Pasdar into Syria to help Assad with no one the wiser.
