"In fact Trotsky was one up until 1917"

I am unsure, what exactly he meant by this, or what views of Trotsky's changed in 1917 other than his disagreements with Lenin on the Party; but if I understood correctly he implicitly expressed support for the mensheviks.

1917 being a coup is chomskyism in its purest and most deranged form.

It's kinda funny how all of the "mainstream Marxists" that Chomsky referred to were pro-Bolshevik.

Chomsky's view is irrelevant because, as we know, he is NOT a "Marx scholar".

He has no idea how to analyze a situation from a Marxist perspective, or any clue of what Lenin really was, a great revolutionary leader of a great revolutionary people!

You know, I read Chomsky's shit on how the media operates, on American Imperialism, and I think "wow, this is really good and insightful" and then I see things like this and it's like "what the hell was he thinking?"

His problem, I think, is that he doesn't look into Marx. I wholeheartedly think that, if he actually took the time, he would be a Marxist.

I agree totally with what you are saying.

Some dudes just have huge blind sides on areas of interest. We all have our prejudices on certain issues.

Chomsky is epic. Haters need to hop off.
