Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume most/all Leftist supporters of National Liberation movements support Irish Republicanism.

My question to you is, if the National Liberation of Northern Ireland was successful, would you then support a second National Liberation movement for the Ulster-Scots? If not, why?

It's worth pointing out that regardless of what I've posted in the past, I have zero support for any National Liberation movements although I do sympathise with some.

No, because that would not be "national liberation" but a grotesque perpetualization of ( British ) imperialist presence in Ireland under the mask of self-determination and a base for counterrevolution and sabotage of all kinds.

there are some people who do argue for this:

One of the main flaws I see in Irish Republicanism is that it pretty much totally ignores the existence of the just under 1 million Ulster-Scots in Northern Ireland who, from a National Liberation perspective, have just as much of a right to self-determination as the Irish in Northern Ireland do.

No, national liberation isn't about wanting your own state, its about a relationship existing with another country whereby you are more oppressed by the presence of thats states capital, police forces and so on. And to those who say that I am creating a pyramid of oppression, its not really about that, the depression of the national bourgeoisie has inherently reactionary consequences.
