had it just standard short back and sides for a while, then i let it grow on top a bit and sort of fashioned it into a little quiff, but everyone is doing that now. so i've grown the top so it's kinda long and curly at the front, whilst still being short on the side and back. now it's like a cross between quiff and curly. can't quite describe it. i want it like this:

My hair sits defiantly atop my head with the air of a rebellious six year old at bedtime, stoutly refusing to do as it's told. It's mid-length and occupies the uncertain vacuum between straight and curly. Receding at the front, starting to thin on top, too long at the back and ridiculously thick at the sides, it exists almost as a parody of the human Barnet. I'm ok with it though; it's kind of a love-hate relationship. A worthy adversary in eternal war; I'd like to think there's some sort of mutual respect going on.

As I have told in numerous threads regarding balding, I now have a shaved head. I shave it once a week or so. Previous to that I had all kinds if haircuts, although never really long hair. In my teens I alternated between having my hair parted in the middle - that was in fashion then! - a flattop and a backslick.

In my defense I can say that at least I never got on the hideous pageboy haircut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pageboy) bandwagon that was popular amongst guys in Sweden at one time in the 90s - and that I thank you non existant god never had a mullet.

Most of my twenties I had the regular 00s short blurred hairdo. Over all this time I constantly dyed the hair in different colours ranging from blond to red to black. Really loved to experiment.

As for facial hair, I did have a goatee for a while when I was around 23, and a full beard in 2010 and early 2011. Beards suit me, but I prefer to be shaved and am so now.

This, minus the facial hair; I prefer to be clean-shaven. I don't really have a particular hairstyle - I'm just trying to grow it as long as possible. It can get annoying at first but once it reaches a certain length, it's easy to tie it back and even when it's not tied back you end up learning some useful habits. I like the dual aspect of having this length of hair - leave it down for a more earthy, undisciplined look, or tie it back in a ponytail for a neater, more practical look.
