G'day to all comrades reading this. Firstly, I would be interested in some discussion on the carbon tax, but really, what I want to do right now is rant. this may not involve any sophistication (communists have no class :D)

I'm also not sure if this should be in learning. Sorry if it is in the wrong place.

Without further adieu, my rant:

What the fuck are you smoking Abbot!? Seriously!? "The Carbon tax is socialism disguised as environmentalism". That's what you said this morning on national television! What the fuck! Do you even know what Socialism is!? Should a politician know these things!? Someone who actually plays a role in the relations between classes and the state! Did you even pass high school! How is it that a person who thinks a carbon tax equates to socialism into politics. For Fuck Sake he could be our next 'leader'!

Socialism doesn't simply tax the bourgeoisie. It fucks them up seriously! It actually takes their resources they use to buy luxury yachts and distributes it to the people fairly. It doesn't simply take a small amount of their money and give it to the government. It abolishes money completely!

And you think Australia is facing a class war! Yes, it is experiencing class struggle, a constant throughout history. But how is that a full on class war!? For Fuck sake! We have had a few strikes, and somehow that's class war! And it gives you the right to ban industrial action! Not that anyone will listen to you. I would like to see the Unions, socialist parties and the masses unite to show you a fucking class war! Then you can really see what a class war is. When you're head is lined up on a guillotine!

To conclude. FUCK YOU! Learn what you re talking about! Learn what you are supposed to know as a politician!

[End rant]

I apologise if my use of course language offends anyone. I just needed to rant about it, where it will not just be ignored.

And now, in light of my own rant, I would like to see some demonstrations outside parliament house to try and bring some awareness to his stupidity.

I'm with you. Seriously I wish politicians would shut up about the stupid carbon tax already. I love how Abbott claims the carbon tax is an example of class struggle, then claims it will hurt workers. He needs to stop acting like its the worst thing ever. I don't think it'll do much to help the environment (we really ought to be switching to renewables, not making carbon slightly more expensive) but if he gets people into a frenzy over this, imagine what would happen if anyone tried to take more radical environmental action.

Indeed, I would mind an anarchist style riot in Canberra (I hope that doesn't offend any anarchists) to give him an example of what class struggle is.

And if the politicians have any brains (that said, they don't) they would use the extra income from the carbon tax to start switching to renewable energy.

The biggest problem (the way i see it) is that the Government doesn't have enough money (or refuses to spend money) for renewable energy. I'd assume in a socialist society, this could be overcome.
