I would like to read about communist and socialist movements that took place outside of Europe. Especially if the books are about africa and the middle east. Right now I am having some difficulty. The only movements I know of are The Angolan movement and the south Yemeni. So can anyone name anymore movements or point to books about them. I would love to get my hands on a good book about the PFLP(popular front for the liberation of Palestine) on PFLOAG(popular front for the liberation of the occupied Arabian gulf). but all I result with is either books by Israelis or about terrorism in general or books by imperialist british commanders fighting PFLOAG in Oman, I also can't find good books on the PKK.

Well, i don't know of any of these subjects to suggest any books, but i can list some books i like:

Besides Das Kapital, Imperialism as the highest..., Beginnings of the Family State and Private Property, Quotations of Mao, Communist Manifesto, State and Revolution and others i can recommend some of my other favorite books or novels:

Through Hell for Hitler and as well A Hitler Youth from - Henry Metelmann

The Hate on the West - Jean Ziegler

Revolutionary Dreams - Richard Stites

but if you're interested in books on the Red Army Faction, i can recommend Baader Meinhof Complex -Stefan Aust and Black Box BRD which are the two best books on the RAF and their victims and actions.

I second Fanon. But if secondary-source history is what you're looking for then idk.

Happyslapped By a Jellyfish by Karl Pilkington.

I also highly recommend anything by David Graeber as always.
