Well, i have heard of this before and didn't give it much thought, but in my newspaper that i read frequently, there was an article with leaked US government documents where there is openly stated that they are concentration camps that are located throughout the United States and can hold over 16 million people. This recent reminder of this in light of the NDAA, National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order, and increasing news about Executive Kill Lists and drone usage etc. makes it not sound so crazy anymore. Anyway, here (http://www.marktende.de/Finanzkrise/FEMA-Internierungslaeger.html) are some pictures

I don't doubt that there are contingency plans in place in case of civil insurrection.

Yeah, the whole FEMA concentration camps thing may be BS, but there are actually quite a few disturbing trends as far as the power of the US federal government is concerned. I personally have no doubt that any insurrection here in the USA would be met with extreme brutality, and I think anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. Just because right-wing libertarians and/or conspiracy theorists also think this doesn't mean it should be dismissed off hand.

Yes but concentration camps is illogical tactic in a class war, for example if you have a general strike (like the one of 1877) what the hell is locking up the striking workers going to do when the crisis is that capitalists are starving for labor due to the strike?

Well, i don't think that the government will seriously be concerned about striking workers, but rather what those unemployed workers would do in a greater crisis. You see, i know of "evacuation" centers in Germany, my father is a policeman and they are often located around police headquarters. I have visited one place where the headquarters of the federal police is where they store their tanks for domestic use, masses of portable toilets ins torage and lots of empty fenced in guard tower fields. So, i don't see why this should be such a big "conspiracy", Concentration camps have always been a necessary tool for states to use at times where civil war threatens or is happening. Do you think Dachau KZ was created from the Nazis? Ha! The Dachau Concentration Camp was a police headquarters and still is, my father did his police studies a few yards from the "Arbeit Macht Frei Gates".

Well, my point is, with all the Executive Order passed in the United States by Obama, the one that are the most striking are the NDRP-EO and NDAA where the NDRP-EO states that the government can implement Forced Labor and the NDAA of course notoriously being extra reiterated by the Obama Administration to include American citizens as being indefinitely detained.

I really don't see a big conspiracy here now to be honest, seems routine state business.
