comrades for the past year i have heard the Iraqwar being attacked on the basis that, amongst other things, it is 'ILLEGAL'. i have also seen t banded around here.

Since when did this become a criteria upon which marxists - people who in theory do not accept the legitimacy of the mass of existing governments and international institutions (yes the UN is dominated by capitalist powers) and their systems of legality - decided to oppose something. I should imagine that Fidel's decision to expropriate the united fruit company's land without compensation was illegal not to mention the october revolution.

what is the point of this ridiculous slogan?

Its not because it's illegal it's because it's hypocrtical and unecassary

Fuck it being illegal..there was no reason to go in there

I think if expressed properly the point could have propaganda uses.
"Even own their own terms of legality...............................etc."
It is not a point I particularly stress.

Perhaps, we should initiate a movement: Let the American soldiers go home crosses the Christmas day?

The war was basically a front for what they really wanted. Cheap labor and FREE OIL! The world's oil supply is hitting rock bottom now. We are forced to purchase it from countries from which are third or second world countries. They have no defence against the US, so why wouldn't they just take it?

i think the real point is that the government has made themselves useless by breaking laws that they create and destroying innocent ppl with their broad sword of superiority

Theodore Roosevelt said “tread quietly and carry a big stick”(or close to that) but now it seems that America is jumping up and down with many sticks. None can do anything about or won’t, they(usa) control 20% of the worlds G.D.P. California has a bigger G.D.P then the U.K who’s going to stand up to them.
