I always love it when Americans say the stalin-era wasn't democratic or Vietnam or Korea, while americans where throwing democratic-bombs Blacks still weren't able to vote in their own country how democratic.

Cartoon trivializes a mass-murdering genocidal maniac.
I like this one better:

Funny how these cartoons are all evidently pro-Trotskyst and virulently anti-Stalin, despite the facts that Stalin betrayed the (world) revolution et cetera...

Hey, I'm no fan of Stalin's but the OP cartoon is pathetically, er, moronic.
Also, it's unfunny and historically inaccurate.

Well I'm not a a huge fan of Stalin either, but this video seems to imply that he was evil because he did not to help the invading nazis who were freezing to death or something...

Yeah, I mean is it really such a bad thing to want the Nazi armies to freeze? I mean it's kind of weird & sadistic to relish their freezing, but still.

By that same standard the cartoonmakers just love Lenin (see my previous post, cha cha cha!).

Yes because the cartoon makes it seem as if Lenin was a "genuine" Trotskyst. :D

Yes, the whole bourgeoisie is in fact Trotskyist and the fall of the USSR was a grand Trotskyist plot!
Keep on trolling.

That's not my point. My point was that the cartoon shows Lenin and Trotsky as being the good guys and "following the same line", and then Stalin fucked it all up and so on...

How many old bolsheviks were left by 1945? ;)

It's not just anti-Stalin but pro-imperialist and nazi symphatizing. Anything goes, as long as it's against Stalin, right?

America canceled elections in Vietnam or Korea because communists were going to win. Then they had war to save democracy.

What the fucking kind of cartoon show is this? Obviously influenced by Anarcho-Trotskyism, very good, love it.

Depending on what do you mean by old bolshevik, if you are talking about important revolutionaries and communists of the period, than, a lot of them.
If you are talking about the people who fought in the Civil War (Red Army soldiers.), who organized the revolution, who were agents, etc etc. Who knows, tens of thousands?

It's the Animaniacs. The Pinky and The Brain offshoot is more widely known.
