I mean the political and economic situations?

I focus on America, because its my country of birth and because it's the most important country politically, economically and culturally.

I also focus on east asia; china, korea, japan, and others because it is the most dynamically developing region in the world and I think this region will play a decisive role in the future of humanity.

All other countries and regions I only have a very basic understanding, latin america, europe, middle east, africa etc. I know very little and don't have much of an interest.

Canada (born & raised), the U.S., and as many other countries as I can learn about, of course (particularly the Palestinian territories, China, the U.K., and Russia...I'd like to learn a lot more about modern Greece, as interesting as its history can be as well).

US and Russia, and a few tiny countries that have little influence on world affairs just 'cause I like their cultures or whatever.

Britain and America because their politics affect me most (I'm British)

Russia because I find it interesting

US (I live there), Europe, Middle East, South Asia, and East Asia. I try to keep up on Africa and Latin America, but I have connections in places I first mentioned so it's easier for me to stay updated. Also I focus from time to time on Quebec.

Yeah, he's just being nationalistic, obviously. What happens to the United States economically and politically totally doesn't have major implications on a global scale.

I really do not see the point of this thread at all.

USA, because I live in it and because the U.S. government is the major imperial power of our age.

Spain because I spent quite a bit of time there and I miss the place. I'm concerned about what happens there.

Greece and Egypt because they are flashpoints in today's revolutionary process.
