this is actually pretty painfull to watch, even more so when you realise what are the horific consequences the world over of stupid drug policies and their stupid enforces; http://www.viralviralvideos.com.customers.tigertech.net/2012/06/21/dea-administrator-michele-leonhart-doesnt-know-that-meth-and-heroin-is-more-harmful-than-marijuana/

WOW!

One would think they would be at least smart enough to have a representative who actually knows what he/she is talking about.

That guy would not let her formulate an answer, when she was about to answer him the guy would interrupt her with the question again.

I hate politicians.

Dude, he said "Is heroin more hazardous for your health than marijuana according to science?" She responds by saying all illegal drugs are bad for you. He is saying show me the facts! She can't do that, because hemp is a useful plant, you can manufacture clothes, energy, sails, etc,.

I mean fuck the DEA but this guy was asking a pretty loaded question. I'm pretty sure she knew that heroin and meth are worse for you than weed, but she needs to represent the interests of the DEA, and that is keep weed illegal so they get funding, nothing surprising there.

I agree with Ocean Seal, the DEA lady knows full well what the correct answer is but that is an answer that would expose the hypocrisy of the DEA. Business as usual on The Hill. If you watch CSPAN enough you'll see this kind of back and forth nonsense going on on any issue, all the time.
