I just saw this last night and man what a great movie!Yeah,i'm prejudice as hell cuz I love Deniro,and gangster flicks,but really a great movie.I like how they work the racial tention in.Interesting how that exsisted.In theroy it should not have.Considering the Italians were discriminated on a lot as well.

I really enjoied that movie, im unfamiliar with those racial tensions, i thought perhaps they exsisted because it was just across the whole board, Black Vs White, ignoring the individual sects amongst the two groups.

But im not sure whether this occured, i cant imagine it did, as id of presumed the Italians had more pressing concerns.

Not only does it show how fucked up the racial issues were of the time, it showed young love in the best kind of form....forbidden.

A Bronx Tale was pretty good. So was Godfather II. But if you want my opinion as to the best Deniro ganster flick, I'd definately go with Once Upon A Time In America. I had been wanting to see it for the longest time and finally caught it on late night pay cable the other day. Aside from Godfather I and State of Grace, it was probably the best gangster movie I've ever seen.

Goodfellas was another great deniro flick.Yeah,I too was sad when Sonny died.But it had a nice,realistic,and neccassery ending.

I love a Bronx Tale!!! Its such a great film, i watch it all the time.

When sonny died i was so upset!!! Hes like the bad guy with the heart of gold.

The funniest part is when sonny's buds kick the bikers' asses!!!!
