Today i woke up with a strong pain in my back and my right shoulder, it stopped for about an hour or two after i took some anti-pain pills and went to do things, but when i came home, exausted, it started to hurt like hell, and i could not even move, and i had problems with breathing, because i have this strange feel that my lungs are too small and that i need more air, but when i try to inhale air my entire thorax hurts. I will probably see a doctor in the next couple of days if it does not stop. Anyone had similar problems?

Back injuries are horrible so you have my sympathy I've never had breathing problems related to back pain but I have when I tore the ligaments which connect the stomach muscles to the rib cage. That was very painful and excruciating when I inhaled. Is it possible that you've broken a rib or injured something to do with your rib cage something like that would cause the shortness of breath. Does it hurt more when you inhale or exhale? If it's a stabbing pain when you inhale then I'd say ribs

Well, i was exoposed to a strong wind, for a hour or two, that could have caused the pain, (I react badly to such things.) because i had problems with my bones for some time now, however this is new. I doubt i broke a rib.

It really hurts when i inhale, i also had blood coming out of my nose? (???)

Hm, it does hurt a lot in that area when i inhale, i think that's the problem, but i'm not going to panic untill i see the doctor.
Thanks for the suggestion, i though it had something to do with the muscles.

I think going to a doctor as soon as possible is best.

Any physical activity that involves collisions? Is the pain spreading/getting worse?
Just go to a doctor ASAP man.

It's "stable" actually, not getting worse or better, but it's really bad in the morning and during the night.

You have to go to the hospital.

I wouldn't take the gamble of not going to the hospital today. It could be something else entirely, something more serious. You need to go to the hospital.

Quit whining! You should be big and tough like Comrade Stalin! You're a class-collaborator with the middle-class intelligentsia if you go see the doctor! Time for gulag;)
Go see the doc.

WebMD.com (http://www.webmd.com/) is probably more helpful than RevLeft....no offense, Revleft....

I'll make a joke about your back pain only after you've gotten better or have seen the doctor and then gotten better or died from something unrelated to your present discomfort. I'll require a doctor's certificate too.

Go see a doctor. Better see the doctor and have them tell you that it is nothing to worry about, than to not go and it end up being something serious. Never take the chance when it comes to back pain.

Better check that you don't have a collapsed lung.

Have you been skinny-skiing lately? Once went to a bullfight on acid with my friend Percy and the same shit happened to the bullfighter. :crying:
