Trial begins of Met PC over death of Ian Tomlinson

Hope that there is something akin to justice served (I'm not very hopeful but who knows).

The trial of a police officer accused of killing newspaper vendor Ian Tomlinson, who died at the G20 protest in London in 2009, has begun.
PC Simon Harwood, 44, of Carshalton, south London, is on trial at Southwark Crown Court accused of manslaughter.
Mr Justice Fulford warned jurors not to search the internet and "disobedience" would threaten the trial.
BBC home affairs correspondent Danny Shaw tweeted that the trial was expected to take four to five weeks.

Absolutely fucking sickening. That was textbook manslaughter and coupled with the violent past that particular policeman had this is a joke. I feel really bad for his poor stepson who barely held it together during the interview afterwards while that scumbag walked away smiling with his smug wife.

This angered me greatly, It's absolutely disgusting that the bourgeois court is protecting a scumbag that would have otherwise gone to jail had it not been for his uniform.
This spits in the face of the family to Mr.Tomlinson, I hope they're not too affected by this though they every right to be.R.I.P Ian Tomlinson.
