There's been much discussion on SYRIZA, KKE, the prospects for a potential left government and so on. And rightly so. But what if Nea Demokratia win? What will be the ramifications of that? I think this needs to be discussed as well.

Syriza and Nea Demokratia are more or less the same, wether one or the other wins the results will be similar.

and why do you think so? My intention with this thread was not to have another discussion on SYRIZA, so I'll assume what you are saying is that Samaras is basically like Tsipras. What I am trying to bring up for discussion, if that wasn't obvious what will an ND (plus allies) government do? What will the effect of that be?

What if the Golden Dawn wins

Golden Dawn won't win. They can wreck a lot of havoc though, especially if the left fails.

If ND wins they may initially make some noises about slowing down austerity, but it will be a continuation of what's happening now.A gradual increase in the influence of the far right.

This is a fairly interesting piece from Paul Mason on what a victory for ND might entail: http://paulmasonnews.tumblr.com/post/25284107429/sunday-morning-greece-votes-thoughts
