Has anyone here possessing working class consciouness seen this movie and given any thought about its anti-capitalist story?

It was written by Robert Towne and directed by Roman Polanski

I watched it last night (for the umpteenth time) and gave a bit more thought to some of its story.

Also, I believe that it's a movie with some of the most clever and economical dialogue ever made in Hollywood, like the line about Mulvehill and the rumrunners in Ventura County never having "lost a drop.".
