Hey,

My name is Mike, I'm 16 and Im from Indiana.

I post regularly on car message boards, mainly Mustangs, I have a 1990 Ford Mustang GT.. on a particular board last night, there was a thread about racism towards hispanics and the confederate flag, Then one of the members from the board who I chat with now and then posted a picture of a guy. I knew I had seen the picture before on a Rage Against the Machine album cover but I didn't know who it was.
So I instant messaged gabe and asked him who it was, he said it was Ernesto "Che" Guevara and pointed me to this website. He got to talking about Che and I was amazed.. heres basically what gabe said.

Gabe (3:13:14 AM): he took his 3rd world country out of ruins and hlped castro get to power but he did it for radical change, as a temproary thing btu was killed before he could ever act upon his movement
Gabe (3:14:09 AM): cuz he beleived in radical change for peace, get rid of all the bad people, and live in peace, he fought really hard and died for wat he believed in....
Gabe (3:14:15 AM): his life story is awesome
Gabe (3:14:25 AM): thats where punk rock gets the star from
Gabe (3:14:50 AM): its just about revolution, a movement for change and hard working and willing to die for ur beleifs

I thought about it and it's aweomse... I don't believe in communism but what he did was right, I'm all for radical change.. You can't have a good without a bad.
I've been reading online biographys and what not but it's kind of boring, I'll be reading a paragraph and by the time I get to the end of it, I forget what the beginning said. It's really boring, It's a lot better hearing it from actual people. If anyone can tell me anything about Che or what the best books are to read about him I'd appreciate it.

On a side note, I have a star tattoo on my right tricep and I was planning on getting another this winter break from school, so I felt like a real douche bag in not knowing that that is what it represented.. I didn't get it because I was influenced by punk rock music, but still, everyone thinks that's why and that's the image that it puts out. I should have known.
