I don't really know enough about it, I just read up on it on Wikipedia before but that's about it. I'm just curious as to your general thoughts on National Anarchism.
National-Anarchists see the artificial hierarchies inherent in the state and capitalism as systematically oppressive and environmentally destructive. They distance themselves from fascism and communism as statist and totalitarian, and reject Nazism as the discredited ideology of a failed dictatorship.

You forgot this bit for some reason:
National-Anarchists see modernity, liberalism, materialism, consumerism, immigration, multiracialism, multiculturalism, and globalization as the primary causes of the social decline of nations and cultural identity.[1] They stress a strategic and ideological alliance of racial separatists in the Western world, neo-Eurasianists in Russia, Islamists in the Muslim world, and autonomist and secessionist movements in the least developed countries to resist the "New World Order" — globalization viewed as an instrument of Jewish-dominated international banking and American imperialism — that is inevitably leading to global economic collapse and ecological collapse.[1][8]
This quote's also quite interesting:
The most important thing for us is the Natural Order. It is natural for men and women to procreate. Anything which threatens the harmony of Nature must be opposed. Feminism is dangerous and unnatural ... because it ignores the complimentary relationship between the sexes and encourages women to rebel against their inherent feminine instincts ... Homosexuality is contrary to the Natural Order because sodomy is quite undeniably an unnatural act. Groups such as OutRage are not campaigning for love between males - which has always existed in a brotherly or fatherly form - but have created a vast cult which has led to a rise in cottaging, male-rape and child sex attacks. Nature is about life and health, not death and AIDS. But we are not trying to stop homosexuals engaging in this kind of activity like the Christian moralists or bigoted denizens of censorship are doing, on the contrary, as long as this behaviour does not affect the forthcoming National-Anarchist communities then we have no interest in what people get up to elsewhere ... As far as abortion is concerned, this process violates the sanctity of life and once again the killing of an unborn child is flying in the face of Nature.[3]
[emphasis added]
"Fascists in anarchist clothing" is what I'd sum them up as.
Are there actually self-described national anarchists? I've never heard of the term outside of the wikipedia article on it.
Assuming they actually exist, they are, as Noxion said, fascists in black.

I didn't forget the other quotes, that's just what stuck out to me. :P
I have heard of them offline, they had a mention in a documentary I was watching a while back, never really looked in to it but then came across that Wikipedia article and figured I would ask about it.

There is some in Australia, pretty big. And by big I mean more than ten people, and couple of chapters in some major cities with no more than a handful of people.
There is also some in Portugal.
There are some in the Dutch city of the Hague posting stickers, for that matter.

You don't think the concept of a Natural Order (sounds kinda Platonic) is more in keeping with authoritarian rather than libertarian politics?

So the bits about prescribed roles for men and women didn't leap out at you?

No no, I mean other parts jumped out at me, but I thought they associated with the Nazi punk/skin crowd but from what I read there they see them as an enemy? At the same time they still use elements from that crowd. It didn't make much sense to me that's why I was asking about it.
Also, I don't remember the documentary. It was about some racist in one form or another who stood for unity of White people whether they are KKK, Nazis or "White Anarchists", as they called them on the show. That was literally the only real-world mention of them that I have ever seen to date.
P.S. I looked up more of their symbolism and I saw a green/black star with an odal rune instead of the red/black star with wheel. I definitely see the skinhead elements there. Seems like it is just a mix of everything to try to appeal to everyone and bring them in. Apparently it's not working, as I have never seen them. :tt2:

"Sodomy". Anyone that uses the word "sodomy" in the 21st century can never be treated seriously.
heard of these kooks before once. this remains the weirdest ideology i've ever encountered... and they have chapters in australia? i feel compelled to see this

Actually, now that you mention Australia... Some random guy added me on Facebook (back when I used to add people I don't know) and he always posted stuff from Nationalist Alternative (I deleted him shortly). He always had pics of him in black clothing and stuff though, like black bloc style. I think Nationalist Alternative is a National Anarchist group, or is at least very similar to it...
Rather than pursue traditional “left wing” or “right wing” paths taken by many other activists groups, we centre our ideology on the welfare and needs of the Australian people.
So nationalist in black sounds about right...

I wonder if that includes aboriginal Australians...

There was a Bay Area group around one person mostly. What I heard was that he sort of discredited himself and then they fell apart.
They tried to present themselves as anarchists and tried to appeal to the most confused culture and lifestyle oriented anarchists as well as primitivists and white neo-pegans. They said that they were not racist, just that they wanted the government gone so that people could live in their own "tribes".

The most wishy washy, semi-new age bullshit way of saying 'Look, I'm not a racist, but...'

No, it's just a sneaky way of saying we want to ghettoize all non-whites onto reservations.

I mean... fascism's whole basis is in class collaboration, so Idk why anyone would be surprised that every leftist movement you can think of has some fash group trying to infiltrate/imitate it.

Nationalist Alternative seems more akin to the autonome natonalisten (autonomous nationalists) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonome_Nationalisten) from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Autonome Nationalisten are Nazis dressing like black bloc (but not using its tactics, hmmmm), calling themselves "anti-fascists" (because the left is now fascist, as well as the Jewish racists who want to eradicate whites), use AFA symbol but replace AFA with "Nationalist Socialist Action (NSA)" or something similar.

That's fucking lame on so many levels. Laziness, or perhaps lack of creativity, means they couldn't come up with their own symbol?
I also can't help but be reminded of the phenomenon of counterfeit goods with slightly altered logos - groups like this seem to be the political/ideological equivalent of "Tommy Hilfinger" clothes and "Transmorphers" toys.
