Pleasure to meet you all. I'm a philosophy drop-out who has had some crappy jobs since ending my studies, but now I am... *thinks of a euphemism* economically inactive. :)
I had been a political moderate for a while, but have taken more of an interest in radical politics and Marxism since the financial crisis. Mostly out of frustration with the ceaselessly pro-austerity British Labour Party and growing disgust with political reactionaries and their tactics.
My username is a little weird, but I promise it's the best I could come up with. You might know him as the leader of the Diggers (the more egalitarian counterpart to the Levellers) under Cromwell's Protectorate. They're interesting to me in the sense they seem like the English counterpart to the jacobins.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
