Given the pessimistic outlook of some (http://www.revleft.com/vb/things-seem-just-t172364/index.html), post political good news here to remind us that not everything is always becoming worse.
The explicitly anticapitalist Red-Green Alliance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-Green_Alliance_(Denmark)) in Denmark is at 8,3% in the polls (compared to 6,7% in parliament now). Which is outstanding for a country that is doing fairly well, economically.
The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_Bohemia_and_Moravia) is at 17,6% in the polls, compared to 11,3% in previous elections.

Indeed, why should we be glad with polls indicating a rise in class consciousness if it is not immediately 100% revolutionary?

I think that 'consciousness' would be better indicated by less people voting at all, frankly.

that also indicates voter apathy, I know people who says the political system sucks, and do nothing to change it. i'm not a reformist, but the workers/anti-capitalist need to seek all forms of power. also political cynicism and voter apathy, tend to create thoughts of "et experts run the government"(un-democratic). Also as less people vote the riled up, crazed very political right-wing will have more power in the government. I said some critical things of the PSL in the PSL ad thread, but a vote for them would definitely not be a wasted vote.

Well not necessarily, whereas voting for an explicitly anticapitalist party necessarily is. For example, I see on right-wing news sites in my country a lot of hate towards politicians. These could potentially be non-voters. This shows apathy in a sense, but by no means a rise in class consciousness given that it comes from the same mouths that decry migrants for trying to take over the country.

Reading that particular sentence back: it sounded like a passive-aggressive jab directed at you, but it wasn't I can assure you.
