Does anyone else make them or read them?

I have written an eleven-page (half a standard U.S. letter-size paper for each page) zine, which I will print out and distribute in a few weeks. I'm not sure if it's anything worth reading -- just some personal junk mixed with some political junk.

A zine is most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images. More broadly, the term encompasses any self-published work of minority interest usually reproduced via photocopier

I used to read some punk zines, but there's not many around anymore. Not print ones anyway.

I liked "Fire to the Prisons" quite a bit when it was still around...whatever happened to FTTP, anyway?

Some guys had a communist/anarchist zine at my school a while back. It was awesome. I wish they were still at my school to make it.

oh yeah back i was younger i read several extreme-metal fanzines, "Leather'n'Spikes", Canadian Assault and the Slayer mag, good stuff, its interesting how well they were made.

Yeah, I'm working on making a punk/political zine with the other members of the co-op I live in. It'll have stuff about the local punk scene mixed with anti-capitalist news and whatnot. Should be pretty cool I hope.
