I know that he first and foremost was motivated by anti-imperialism, indigenismo, leftist views, but what was he inspired of more specifically? Some of the stuff I've read about him that suggests that he was opposed to the Bolsheviks at the time. I also know he was in contact with anarchist thoughts through a strange group called the Magnetical-Spiritual School of Universal Commune. Anyone care to elaborate? :)

I would actually like to hear criticisms and praises of Sandino. Would anyone like to add anything?

I found something noteworthy; the Kuomintang brigade that seized Beijing in 1928 was named the Sandino Brigade, according to Wikipedia.
The same article goes on to say how many Latin American revolutionaries were inspired by Sandino; Che, Fidel, and Chavez are mentioned.
Personally, I don't know much about the man, but it sure seems like he told both sides of the fence to go fuck themselves (being anti-capitalist and anti-Bolshevist.)
